Hatenboer-Water Opens New Office in Aberdeen to Serve UK Market
Dutch supplier of clean drinking water and drinking water solutions for the maritime markets Hatenboer-Water is expanding its international presence with the opening of a new office in Aberdeen, Scotland, on 2 June 2025. This new location strengthens the company’s commitment to providing reliable, local support for clients across the United Kingdom.
“The coming decades, we’ll be facing big challenges on the North Sea,” says Hatenboer-Water CEO, Willem Buijs. “Consider the energy transition, decommissioning of oil and gas platforms but also the protection of our vital infrastructure at sea. We support our clients in realizing these challenges by ensuring safe and reliable water on board, which supports a safe working environment. With our branches in the port of Rotterdam, Hamburg and now also Aberdeen we surround the North Sea and are well positioned to service our clients even better.”
With headquarters in Rotterdam, Hatenboer-Water specializes in safe and sustainable drinking water solutions for the maritime and offshore industries. With a full-service offering that includes equipment, spare parts, consultancy, and water quality services, the company ensures vessels and offshore installations meet the highest standards for water safety.
Aberdeen is a major hub for the energy sector in the UK North Sea. The new office places Hatenboer-Water at the center of this strategic region, and closer to the homebase of many established key clients.
This expansion follows earlier international growth in Singapore, Dubai, Houston, and most recently Hamburg, strengthening Hatenboer-Water’s ambition to stay close to its customers with regional expertise and rapid response times.
