Hydrex on the road
The last couple of months have been busy for Hydrex and Subsea Industries with both of the companies’ teams attending key maritime events across the globe as part of their aim to optimize their market share in the marine sector.
Kick-starting the Spring 2025 exhibition and conference schedule was a visit to the Sea Asia event in Singapore. This biennial event has grown exponentially over recent years with the 10th edition welcoming over 400 participating organizations from 37 countries.
Sea Asia was followed in quick succession by OTC in Houston, and Nor-Shipping in Oslo where we joined our agent for Norway, GearConsult AS.
According to Nor-Shipping’s post-event press release, initial analysis showed a total of over 36,000 participants in the exhibition halls including those at conferences, networking events and official social gatherings, and around 1,000 exhibiting companies.
The organizers called the 60th anniversary of the event a simply unforgettable week. They said: “We may not have been blessed with the same weather as we had in 2023, but that certainly did nothing to dampen the spirits of our amazing exhibitors, visitors and speakers. There was a huge buzz in the halls, with consistently packed stands, and the activity programme really did have something for everyone looking to unlock sustainable ocean business success.”
Hydrex Head of Technical Services, Timo Verhoegstraete said that Hydrex had many networking opportunities throughout the exhibition and that the GearConsult booth was bustling with activity from start to finish. “Nor-Shipping 2025 was a great success for us. We met many interesting people from the shipping industry,” said Timo. “We reinforced existing relationships while new business opportunities presented themselves.”
