The Advisory Board of N-Sea Group announces that Martin Adler has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer, effective 15 June 2026. He is succeeded by Pim Nelemans, formerly Chief Operating Officer, who has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of N-Sea.
Over the past five years, Martin Adler has successfully led N-Sea through a period of strong growth and
strategic advancement, further reinforcing the company’s position as a leading provider of integrated subsea
solutions. Under his leadership, N-Sea has strengthened its operational capabilities, expanded its service
portfolio and consistently delivered safe, reliable and value-driven solutions to its customers across the
offshore energy sector.
The Advisory Board extends its sincere appreciation to Martin for his leadership, vision and dedication, which
have been instrumental in positioning N-Sea for continued success. We are pleased that he will remain
connected with the company as shareholder and Chairman of the Advisory Board.
The day-to-day management will be carried out by the Management Board, consisting of Pim Nelemans
(CEO) and Ann Porte (current CFO).
Martin Adler commented:
“After more than five years leading N-Sea following its acquisition by CapitalChange in 2021, we have
achieved the key objectives set out to accomplish, and I believe that it is the right moment to hand over
leadership.
Together, we have transformed N-Sea into a stronger, more professional, and more resilient organisation. We
have expanded our capabilities across survey, UXO ID & clearance, cable repair & installation and IRM,
construction & decommissioning, strengthened our position in key international markets, and rebuilt N-Sea as
a recognised and trusted integrated subsea services provider
After many years in senior leadership roles at Dockwise and Boskalis, Pim brings extensive operational
expertise, deep sector knowledge, and a strong understanding of both our customers’ needs and the subsea
environment. His collaborative leadership approach, combined with his ability to build strong relationships
across all levels of the organisation, from shareholders and the Executive Committee to our offshore and
onshore teams, makes him ideally suited to lead N-Sea into its next chapter of growth and to further reinforce
our reputation as a trusted subsea partner.”
Pim Nelemans commented:
“I would like to sincerely thank Martin Adler for his outstanding leadership and the strong foundation he has
built over the past years. Under his guidance, N-Sea has evolved into a high-performing, ambitious and
forward-looking subsea services provider, with a clear strategic direction and strong market positioning.
I am honoured to accept the role of Chief Executive Officer. Building on this solid foundation, I will continue to
accelerate our growth, strengthen our integrated service offering and further position N-Sea as a trusted
partner in the evolving offshore and subsea landscape.
Together with the management team and our talented people, we will focus on international expansion,
delivering innovative and smart solutions, maintaining operational excellence and creating long-term value
for our customers, partners and shareholders.”
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Pim served as Chief Operating Officer at N-Sea, where he was instrumental
in strengthening the company’s market position and driving its international expansion. Before joining N-Sea,
he built an extensive track record in the maritime and offshore sectors through senior leadership roles at
Dockwise and Boskalis, including Managing Director of Heavy Marine Transport and Director of Estimating
and Engineering Offshore.
Pim holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and has completed executive education programmes at the London Business School.
