Broekman Logistics has its headquarters the port of Rotterdam, Waalhaven, and offers end-to-end supply chain solutions in breakbulk, project logistics, international freight forwarding, warehousing and contract logistics.
Our heavy lift centre is located at the Broekman Project Services terminal in the port of Rotterdam. We specialise in assisting offshore vessels with mobilisations and demobilisations, as well as handling, storage, assembly, repairs, and inspections of heavy and complex cargo.
Depending on the weight and size of the shipment, we can tranship your cargo, from inland barges and seagoing vessels, with floating sheerlegs, quay cranes or mobile cranes. The spacious basins of the port ensure that seagoing vessels can enter and depart here 24 hours a day.
We offer end-to-end supply chain solutions for offshore, power, wind energy and battery energy system markets. Our terminal offers:
- Deep-sea quay length of 600 metres and 10,50 metres draft
- 140 metres barge quay (“Sleepboothaven”) and 3,5 metres draft
- Indoor 24.000 m2 storage facility and outdoor storage facility 55.000m2 with a height maximum of 27 metres under the hook and floor space up to 16,000m2
- Shore cranes: 1x 120 tons / 1x 100 tons / 1x 50 tons / 4x 25 tons
- Overhead crane assistance up to 700 tonnes
- Floating cranes up to 1,800 tonnes
- 2x 520 metres railtrack for multimodal logistics
- Specialised equipment handling: SPMT’s and mobile cranes
- Possibility to mobilise and demobilise vessels
- Value added services: assembly, packing, labelling, repairing and inspections
- Transshipment and handling of almost all types of breakbulk, heavy lift and out of gauge cargo
