Innovation Committee

Members of the innovation committee are closely involved in innovations and R&D within their organizations. During the meetings of the innovation committee, innovative developments in the maritime sector are discussed and speakers from within and outside the sector are invited. Bureau matters are also discussed: including innovation projects and various regulatory items. We work with a theme, which is currently 'energy transition'. Much attention is paid to this during the meetings. The meetings are always on location, which can be at members or at other parties.

Export Committee

The Export Committee serves as a sounding board for our association's policy on export promotion. For example, members of the committee are asked for their opinion about NMT's participation in certain trade fairs or about setting up a trade mission to a certain country. The members of the committee actively think along about possible new activities in the field of export from NMT. In addition, the office always gives a presentation on a relevant subject in the field of market information. Knowledge exchange and the opportunity to network are also important reasons for participation from the committee's members. As a rule, there are three committee meetings per year, alternately at different committee members' offices.
