Their first purchase from Damen, Fast Lines Belgium chose the CF 3850 based on its outstanding performance as the cleanest and most economical vessel available in its class.

Damen wins class and flag states approval in principle for future methanol-fuelled workboats

Starting in the summer of 2022 and working closely from the outset with classification society Bureau Veritas, Damen has developed and gained approval in principle for designs of methanol-powered compact vessels. LNG carriers set the standards for this type of fuel, but their size has resulted in rules that are very different to those required by much smaller vessels. Damen Naval contracts ABB to supply integrated power and distribution system for ASW Frigates

Damen Naval has chosen ABB to supply its Onboard DC Grid™ integrated power and distribution system to the new Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Frigates. Damen Shipyards signs contract with Port of Antwerp-Bruges for supply of six new RSD Tugs

The Port of Antwerp-Bruges has placed an order with Damen Shipyards for five diesel-powered RSD Tugs 2513 fitted with the Damen Marine NOx Reduction System, and one electric RSD-E Tug 2513. This is part of the ongoing renewal of its fleet. Port of Antwerp-Bruges bought the first diesel RSD Tugs 2513 three years ago and their performance has paved the way for this new order.
