The new Multi Cat 3713, to be named Waddenstroom, is currently in build at Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld as part of the Damen philosophy of building for stock and will be delivered on 26th October this year. Damen Shipyards and Boluda Towage have joined forces to bring zero-emissions tugs to Europe. In a groundbreaking move the two organisations, which have nearly 200 years of tugboat experience between them, aim to launch the first newbuild methanol tug in Europe. The first vessel is intended to be a Damen RSD-E Tug 2513 and the partners are now working together to identify the potential harbour that will be best matched to its operational profile.

Herman Senior / Damen: a 75 year relationship In a ceremony held at Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld, the second of the new Multi Cat (MuC) 3313 SD class was handed over to workboat operator Herman Sr. BV in front of hundreds of guests. Named Bella, the exceptionally versatile 33-metre vessel has a draught of less than two metres, enabling her to operate in very shallow waters.

Badhoevedorp, 10 May 2023 – EST-Floattech is pleased to announce that its Octopus Series Battery System has received Lloyd's Register and Bureau Veritas Type Approval for maritime applications. The Type Approval of Lloyd’s Register was issued on April 17, 2023. Bureau Veritas issued the Type Approval for the Octopus Series last Monday, May 8th. The first projects for this newly designed and assembled marine Energy Storage System are already being delivered.
