Cyan renewables selects Ulstein FFIV design

Singapore-headquartered Cyan Renewables has contracted Ulstein Design & Solutions BV as the designer of a series of new floating foundation installation vessels (FFIV) dedicated to offshore wind. With an increasing lack of heavy lift installation vessels, these new FFIVs are needed to fill the gap and will enable Cyan to support the offshore wind industry in meeting its global ambitions.

The Maritime Match Day committee

On the 16th of May the twelfth edition of Maritime Match Day will take place. Now that we hopefully don’t have to speak of Covid anymore, this year’s goal is to make the MMD bigger than ever before: more students and more companies will make the MMD of 2023 even more interesting and diverse! A wider range of activities means that it will be an attractive event for all TU Delft students interested in working in the maritime world.

New step in cooperation Dutch and French maritime education

To better equip maritime professionals in Europe for the challenging demands of today, the Scheepvaart en Transport College (STC) and École Nationale Supérieure Maritime (ENSM) will intensify their collaboration. Both educational institutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on April 12th in Amsterdam to formalize their cooperation. This collaboration is one of the outcomes of the European project SkillSea, in which both institutions are part of, along with 23 other EU partners from the sector.
