Damen delivers CSOV 9020 TSS Cruiser to Ta San Shang Marine Co., Ltd.
Damen Shipyards Group delivered the first of two Commissioning Service Operations Vessels (CSOV) 9020 to Ta San Shang Marine Co., Ltd. (TSSM) at Ha Long in Vietnam. The company, a joint venture between Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. of Japan, and Ta Tong Marine Co., Ltd. of Taiwan, will use the vessel to support operations at Taiwanese offshore wind farms during construction and operational phases.
TU Delft toont primeur: hun nieuwste waterstofboot tijdens de 'Boat Reveal'
Het TU Delft Hydro Motion Team is een studententeam van 26 multidisciplinaire studenten en maakt deel uit van de Dream Teams van de TU Delft. Dit zijn teams waar jaarlijks een nieuwe groep studenten een unieke uitdaging op het gebied van innovatie en duurzaamheid aangaat. Het Hydro Motion Team richt zich specifiek op de maritieme sector en begon ooit met zonne-energie aangedreven boten. Sinds 2021 hebben ze zich gericht op het ontwikkelen van waterstof boten. Het doel is om dit jaar als eerste team ter wereld te gaan racen op vloeibare waterstof.
Fugro geotechnical survey to support Berwick Bank B offshore wind farm
Fugro has been awarded a major geotechnical survey contract by SSE for Berwick Bank B, part of the landmark Berwick Bank offshore wind project in the North Sea. Berwick Bank B is the second phase of Berwick Bank, which is targeting the delivery of 4.1 GW of offshore wind capacity across three phases. If built to its full capacity, Berwick Bank could become the world’s largest offshore wind farm, capable of generating enough clean electricity to power more than six million UK homes annually.

On Friday, May 22, 2026, Oceanco, Alewijnse and other co-makers will host Oceanco Career Day at its facilities in Alblasserdam. On the occasion of World Boating Day, the event will be open to students, professionals and anyone else curious about a future in yacht building and the maritime sector.

Fast Lines Belgium held a naming ceremony for two Damen Combi Freighters (CF) 3850 in the Port of Antwerp. The vessels – the first newbuilds to enter the company’s fleet – will be joined by a third CF 3850 later this year.
US Army Corps of Engineers awards Fugro five‑year contract for critical infrastructure mapping
Fugro has secured a new five‑year indefinite‑delivery, indefinite‑quantity (IDIQ) contract from the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to provide surveying and mapping services supporting civil works and military infrastructure programmes across the US and overseas. The contract underpins USACE’s management of critical waterways, flood‑risk systems and military facilities, enabling timely, high‑quality geospatial data to inform infrastructure planning, risk management and operational readiness in complex and demanding environments.
