Oceanco to present Leviathan and Draak at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show
Oceanco has built its reputation by partnering with visionary owners who are bold enough to challenge convention. At this year's Monaco Yacht Show, that approach will be embodied by two recently delivered projects: Leviathan (111m/364ft) and Draak (93m/305ft) both owned by Gabe Newell, who joined the Oceanco team in July 2025. The attendance will also mark the first time Oceanco has showcased both a new build and a rebuild at the show.
Smulders HSM awarded contract by ONE-Dyas for next phase of N05-A development
Following its successful construction of the N05-A offshore gas production platform, Smulders HSM has once again been selected by ONE-Dyas for the next phase of the project. The company has been awarded the contract for the construction and integration of a new compression module that will support continued production of natural gas from the N05-A field in the Dutch North Sea.

Huisman to deliver advanced lifting and handling systems for new Solstad Offshore and SBM Offshore installation vessel
Huisman has been awarded a contract by CIMC Raffles Offshore for the delivery of an integrated package comprising a 350mt A-frame, a 500mt Knuckle Boom Crane, a 20mt Auxiliary Crane, and a 2,500mt basket for the storage of flexibles, fibre ropes, and mooring chains. The equipment package will support a wide range of offshore construction and installation activities on the next generation deepwater offshore installation vessel being built for a joint venture between Solstad Offshore and SBM Offshore.
Heesen marks keel laying of Project Kansei, anniversary edition
Earlier in July, Heesen celebrated the keel laying of Project Kansei at Talsma, the shipyard’s preferred partner for steel hull fabrication in the northern Netherlands. In the presence of a Lloyd’s Register surveyor, Heesen CEO Jeroen van der Meer performed the celebratory welding, placing a 1978 coin in the keel to honour the shipyard’s founding year. The milestone formally initiates the construction of the anniversary edition, with the yacht scheduled for launch in October 2028 to coincide with Heesen’s 50th jubilee, followed by delivery in the first quarter of 2029.
