Netwerkbijeenkomst gericht op de toekomst van de sector

De maritieme en offshore sector staat voor een grote uitdaging: terwijl de vraag naar toekomstgerichte vaardigheden sneller groeit dan ooit, wordt het tekort aan specialisten steeds nijpender. Tijdens de volgende algemene netwerkbijeenkomst op 16 april staan we stil bij de vraag die dit oplevert: Hoe mobiliseren we bedrijven nog sterker voor behoud én (zij-)instroom van talent?

De rol van de regio's in de Sectoragenda

Er wordt hard gewerkt aan de uitvoering van de Sectoragenda Maritieme Maakindustrie. De sector en overheid werken nauw samen om de vijf actielijnen om te zetten in concrete acties om de sector toekomstbestendig te maken zodat deze kan blijven bijdragen aan de nationale vitale belangen. Daarnaast zijn de vijf koploperprojecten in ontwikkeling. Sander den Heijer is bij Nederland Maritiem Land verantwoordelijk voor de succesvolle uitvoering van de sectoragenda. Hij geeft regelmatig inzicht in de ontwikkelingen binnen de sectoragenda.

Royal T Shipyards launches MPV Greta C, first vessel in new LABRAX series for Carisbrooke Shipping

Royal T Shipyards Kampen, founded by Bodewes, has successfully launched MPV Greta C, the first vessel in a new series of LABRAX 7680 dwt multipurpose dry cargo vessels being built for UK-based shipowner Carisbrooke Shipping. The launch marks a significant milestone in the long-standing collaboration between Royal T Shipyards and Carisbrooke Shipping and underscores the shared ambition of both companies to advance efficient and sustainable maritime transport.

We kijken ernaar uit je te ontmoeten bij De Kaagsociëteit in Warmond om er samen een fantastische dag vol zeilen en belevenis van te maken. We hopen dat je er dit jaar (weer) bij bent!

Damen unveils first Waterbus 2907 Electric

Damen Shipyards Group has completed construction of the first Waterbus 2907 Electric. The fully electric vessel is designed to provide sustainable public transport in urban areas, operating with extremely low levels of wash and zero emissions. The shipbuilder has introduced the vessel at a special event at Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam.

Fugro reinforces its role as major contributor to UN Ocean Decade Initiative for seabed mapping

Fugro announces further commitment to The Nippon Foundation-GEBCO Seabed 2030 project, a flagship programme of the United Nations Ocean Decade, during Oceanology International in London. As the Ocean Decade reaches its halfway point, Fugro is expanding the group of vessels actively contributing to the Seabed 2030 project. Fugro’s largest vessels, working on geotechnical surveys, are now also contributing to the collection of ocean-floor data alongside the original and ongoing geophysical fleet.
