Fugro GeoAI Framework wins OTC Spotlight on New Technology Award

Fugro has received a Spotlight on New Technology Award from the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) for its Fugro GeoAI Framework, an expert‑led approach that uses artificial intelligence to accelerate the interpretation of offshore survey data during the early stages of energy projects. By helping teams transform large volumes of survey data into engineering‑ready information sooner, the framework supports earlier and more confident front‑end decisions, where risk exposure, capital commitments and delivery outcomes are often shaped.

Havenbedrijf Rotterdam begint proef met ‘supersector’ Rozenburg/Maassluis voor begeleiding van scheepvaartverkeer in de nachten en weekenden

Havenbedrijf Rotterdam begint per 1 mei met een pilot waarbij de sectoren Rozenburg en Maassluis tijdens specifieke perioden tijdelijk worden samengevoegd tot één zogenoemde supersector. De pilot loopt tot 1 november 2026. Het Havenbedrijf wil onderzoeken of deze werkwijze bijdraagt aan een evenwichtigere werkdruk op minder drukke momenten.

Fugro identifies voting registration error affecting AGM resolution

In its press release of 23 April 2026, Fugro reported that at its 2026 annual general meeting of shareholders, the proposal to authorise the Board to limit or exclude pre-emption rights in respect of share issuances (item 8b) was not adopted. Fugro has since established that the required shareholder support was in fact available, but that the proposal was voted down as a significant number of votes were registered incorrectly due to an external error.

Fugro awarded a large geotechnical site investigation contract for CIP’s wind farm in Taiwan

Fugro has been awarded the geotechnical site investigation contract for the 600 MW FengMiao II Offshore Wind Farm (OWF) by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), one of the developers under Taiwan’s Round 3.2 offshore wind tender. The FengMiao II OWF is a key project supporting Taiwan’s national target of achieving 13.1 GW of installed offshore wind capacity by 2030. Fugro’s involvement in the project highlights its continued dedication to advancing the energy transition across the Asia Pacific region through innovation, sustainability, and strong local collaboration.

Multraship en Herbosch-Kiere gestart met berging SOLA GRATIA in de Schelde

Multraship Salvage B.V., en Herbosch-Kiere N.V. zijn gestart met het verwijderen van de lading zeezand uit het gezonken  binnenvaartschip SOLA GRATIA. Zodra de lading uit het schip is, zullen verdere bergingswerkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd. Dit zal meerdere dagen gaan duren.
