Een van de taken van een branchevereniging is ‘belangenbehartiging’, oftewel ‘lobby’. Binnen Maritime & Offshore NL zijn verschillende sectormanagers verantwoordelijk voor verschillende onderwerpen en dossiers. Een onderwerp wat de laatste tijd veel in het nieuws geweest is, is vestigingsklimaat. Erik Peters is sectormanager op dit gebied.
