Bow thruster reinstallation in Algeciras

Two months after Hydrex divers removed the bow thruster of a 150-meter roro ship, they once again mobilized to a vessel in Algeciras, Spain to reinstall the unit. By performing both operations underwater, the thruster could be overhauled without making costly changes to the schedule to take the ship to drydock.

Seven years after Ecospeed was applied to the open cargo deck of Eckerö Line's ro-ro passenger ferry Finbo Cargo, the coating remains in excellent condition despite continuous exposure to heavy cargo traffic and harsh Baltic weather conditions. The long-term performance of the coating confirms the positive results already observed during the first year of service and demonstrates its ability to provide lasting protection in one of the most demanding operating environments aboard a vessel.

Oceanco delivers Draak

Bereid je voor op de kaderrichtlijnen van water

Vanaf december 2027 moeten alle EU-lidstaten voldoen aan de doelen die de Kaderrichtlijn Water (KRW). Deze richtlijn stelt eisen aan de maximale hoeveelheid KRW-stoffen in het bedrijfsafvalwater of in afvalwater dat geloosd wordt op het riool.

Bijdrage aan ECHA-consultatie over gebruik van PFAS in de sector

De Ad Hoc PFAS Restriction Expert Group van SEA Europe (werkzaam onder SEA TEC) verzamelde in mei input van de industrie over het gebruik van PFAS. Hierin werd ook input van leden van Maritime & Offshore NL meegenomen. Dit gebeurde tijdens de consultatie van het Europees Agentschap voor Chemische Stoffen (ECHA) over het conceptadvies van het Committee for Socio-Economic Analysis (SEAC) over mogelijke beperkingen op per- en polyfluoroalkylstoffen (PFAS).

Rijkswaterstaat start ontwikkeltraject emissieloze noodhulpsleepboten

Rijkswaterstaat heeft het startsein gegeven voor de onderzoeks- en ontwikkelingsfase van het project Power2Tow. In dit innovatiepartnerschap gaan drie consortia gelijktijdig nieuwe oplossingen ontwikkelen voor vrijwel emissieloze noodhulpsleepboten en de bijbehorende laadinfrastructuur op zee en aan wal. Hiertoe ondertekende directeur-generaal Martin Wijnen op 30 juni de samenwerkingsovereenkomsten met de drie consortia.
